Academic Wing

One of those vehicles, which relocate fellowships, formal research projects, seminars, conferences and heritage lectures, is the Academic Wing which fills the gap between classical Indology and the modern question.

Research & Events

It has a variety of long-standing internal and external projects in the areas of Indology, anthropology, linguistics, folklore and the study of Sanskrit, and flagship fellowships, including the James Prinsep and Sir William Jones Fellowships.

It also attends national seminars, national symposiums, workshops, training courses, and lectures for the public, universities, and cultural organizations.

Outreach & Impact

The Society disseminates scholarship to the wider public through exhibitions on manuscripts, folk traditions, handloom weaving, and intangible heritage. It stands as a repository of knowledge and one of the hallmarks of academic excellence in India.
